Engaged Encounter - where do you sleep?

We're debating doing the whole weekend vs. a couple of day meetings. question: where do you sleep if you stay the weekend? I know you don't sleep with your fiance but are you in your own room or sharing? Thansk

Nov.2 & differences in precana format

I am going to the retreat the weekend of Nov.2. Is anyone else? About going away vs. doing it through your church: I heard some churches do it so you go to a married couple's house once a week and they host it with another married couple. People who have done it that way, absolutely love it. And often you really get to know the other couples and become friends with them- especially b/c they probably live near your parish. I heard this one isn't boring. In the church: This varies. I've heard mixed reviews. Some people sit on hard chairs for 2 days and listen to 1 priest and watch videos. Other churches do it in a different format-so ask someone at the rectory how your church does it. That was is quick b/c it's only about 2 days. Usually you don't really meet the people around you. AGAIN every parish is different. The weekend get-away: I've heard good things. I will let you know more in November. It cost more b/c you are sleeping and eating there. There is also an interfaith precana. Hope this helps. Sorry it's long.
