Engagement Dinner/Party places

ok...since i'm late in planning, we can't find a place...every place that we looked has been booked on the day(s) that we want...they say is busy cause of graduations, commiuns (sp) and other stuff. anybody recommend places in Suffolk for about 20-25 a head? TIA

babylon, huntington areas...(only towns i know most of local resturants)

Did you try Steakport in Fort Salonga? I know they do lots of parties.

i'm clueless where fort salonga is...i guess i should try map quest..i think it's near me.

We were looking at italian resturants or a steak type of place

Ft Salonga is between Northport & Kings Park.

Steakport is on 25A & Bread & Cheese Hollow Rd

And I'll keep thinking ...

we had our engagement party at domenicos in levittown. it was amazing. great price, great food, great service and great room. we couldnt have asked for more

We had my sister's shower at Pomodorino in Hauppauge and I highly recommend it! Here is more info. It is italian.

Here's a few places i visited:

peter's pasta
villa monaco (def. in price range)
la bella palermo

we were trying to stay around babylon. I'm not sure when you are looking to have it, but most places are booked through the end of june already. I had a tough time finding a place.

I would call most places even before visiting to check out dates. It's crazy how fast things are being booked.
