I want to get my friend that just got engaged a little something special but for some reason im out of ideas...anyone receive anything cute/sentimental/practical that you loved? TIA!

The cutest gift I received was a dish with like a pad inside and thats where I leave my ring each night....its SO useful!! and the ring is neatly put away. Also got like a planner guide or something that keeps you organized with all the plans.

When I got engaged my friend got me a wedding planning book, wedding magazines and Chicken Soup for the Bride's soul. I thought it was really cute and very practical. One of my other friends got me my cake cutter, server, and toasting flutes.

When my BFF got engaged, I got her the Swarovski Toasting Flutes.
When I got engaged, she bought me a beautiful Lenox picture frame.

in addition to the ring holder and planning books I was also given a 'wedding fund' jar. while that seems small, I keep putting change and loose bills in there and the money is adding up. Whatever I have in there I am putting towards the favors for the wedding. So I really am getting good use out of it!

When we got engaged my mom & sister bought me a Brides magazine & a year subscription. My best friend passed down her sights & locations book. Another friend gave me a really cute pen.

i agree with this. FMIL got me one and it's so useful. I always know where my ring is and never misplace it!

The last bridal shower I went to, the girl got a beautiful big wall clock for when they buy a house and it said their last name and est. 2010.
Every single girl at my table was like WOW!!!!!! Who thought of that gift??!!!!
