Did anyone get an engagement gift for their FH? I want to, but can't think of a really good idea.

I didn't yet but I plan to. He really wants a new pair of nice motorcycle boots since his are worn out. We just have to find a pair that he likes and that fit him good.

I bought him a new mountain bike - he sold his old one to pay for my e-ring! Is there anything that he really wants that he would probably not buy for himself?

I took him out to dinner. He did not want me to spend any money on any materialized items. We though dinner was romantic and appreciative enough

i got him a longines watch. we went to look together and he picked out a few watches that he liked. i gave it to him on our negative one year anniversary as we liked to call it.

Thanks everyone for some good ideas. I'm sorry I left, I had to go to a meeting. I was thinking of a watch, but i like the bicycle idea. He wants a plasma tv, but that's too expensive. And he's lived on his own so long, he has everything. But thanks for the great ideas.

Don't laugh, but he wanted an Xbox..lol

SO that's what I got him about about 5 video games to with it, he was soooo happy..lol

We bought matching watches for our 1st year anniversary, so that's why I didn't get him the watch.

But I did decide that I want to get him a pocket watch with the chain for our wedding day. I'd get it engraved. My mom did this for my dad, about 10 years ago on v-day, I always thought it was the sweetest thing..
