Engagement Gift for FH (w/ poll)

I asked FH if he wanted something and he told me he didn't need anything. People have gotten watches or another piece of jewelry. I've heard of some people getting sporting ticket packages, cameras or laptops.

Is there something FH really wants or needs?

same here and he didnt want anything since we now have a wedding to save for..tho i get fh and lot of random gifts throughout the year

Same with me.

i was gonna get it for him in april, but the same week i was gonna get it for him, i was hit with bills from YEARS ago that i didn't know about so themoney i had for the downpayment for his gift i had to use to pay off those bills ...im still gonna get it for him but just wish i was able to get it for him then

I got FH a rolex....but im giving it to him at the wedding. He really wants one...he mentioned it a couple of times.....

which one did you get? and did you get it already...FH's friend sells rolex's to the stores so he can give it to me for wholesale price. Fh wants the rolex oyster perpetual daydate

FH didnt tell me what he wanted..he just wants a Rolex hahah..

But I went to this jeweler that my sister trusts and he doesnt mark them up either.....he is customizing it though..dont know if you would do that but I really liked the idea..he's putting a diamond on each number....and engraving it..

Yes, I would go witth the watch., its an investment and they can go up in value..theres a market for them.
At least that's what FH told me., lol..
I would def try to find a wholesaler.

I think the watches are a fantastic idea. I think I;m doing that also, but on the wedding day!!

I'm also going to do something crazy that will never work out...

I've heard a few times of bands getting letters from kids and then showing up and doing bar mitzvahs for just a song or two because it's the kid's wish. Well, FH is maybe the biggest smashing pumpkins fan ever. We even saw Billy Corgan's other band (Zwan) three times. And now they're 'back together' as Pumpkins and of course we'll see them again. I'm going to write Billy Corgan a cheesey little letter about FH and how great it would be if he would show up to Land's End (LOL) and play our wedding song.

Now I know this will never happen, BUT....either a freak of nature occurs and it DOES happen OR (more than likely) it doesn't happen but I can show FH the letter on our wedding day so he knows how much I love him and what I WOULD do if I had all the money in the world
