Engagement Invite Dilemma

so i bought DIY invites and printed them all up already but i havent mailed them yet. FH said i should indicate adults only on the invite because he has friends and family who will bring kids despite the invite being addressed to only them.

what do i do now? i was thinking of inserting a smaill card with a little poem on it indicating adults only. maybe something corny like 'To relax, dance and party with ease, this celebratory gathering is for adults only please'

what do you think? any suggestions??

'please join us, we dont intend to be mean, but this party is for people over sixteen'

16 is still too young so i told him that was a no go lol
