Olive garden. Someone told me they don't do per person parties. I will call and check.

I will also check out Bertucci's, thanks.

I have gotten prices from $24.99 to 32.99. I don't want to spend that much.

Let me know how you make out. I too am looking to have an engagement party and want to keep costs to a minimum. We are looking for Sept 25, evening. Yup, a Saturday evening, but we are not flexible due to my parents are from out of state and cannot come at any other time. I'm looking to spen MAX $2500, for everything. We'd like unlim beer, wine, soda, but no DJ or dancing, ust dinner. Any suggetsions would be appreciated. And good luck to you!!

Rana's on Merrick Avenue in Merrick has packages. I have there price list, I will get it in the morning and let you know their prices. I know they are very reasonable and DH and I ate there a few weeks ago and the food was excellent!!

We wound up renting a hall from the church for $50 and making or had people make most of the food. A couple of trays were bought, but we spent a total of $250 including decorations and stuff. A lot more managable than $600-700 for having it at a restaurant.

My best friend and MOH bought us a fabulous and very tasty cake.

Here's a picture, but it's not a great one.

MsKitty, all of the places I contacted, and I contacted a lot, no one would do any Saturday evening parties. They make most of their money on Fri and Sat nights and are not going to hold up a large section for a party, especially for $2500. You would need to spend a lot more than that, unfortunately.

I love Bertucci's! They have a private room too. Also Cafe Baci starts at $19.99 and I love that place!

bertucci's sounds like a great deal, they even have a private party room.

The Olive Garden does do private parties for PP $, because I had my sister's Bridal Shower there. The food was great, along iwth the service. I paid $12.50 PP and it included choice of 3 main courses, salad or soup, ice cream dessert (I brought in a cake as well), and soda, coffee, tea.

I know also of two other good places in East Northport:
Larkfield Pasta- very affordable and they cater to private parties. Located on Larkfield Rd. in East Northport.

Geri's Northside Grill- amazing food, great price and service was great too. They have a private party room that would accomadate 20-25 people easily. They too are located on Larkfield Rd in East Northport.

One other suggestion would be the 'Macaroni Grill' From what I have heard, they are good and affordable.
