I need help figuring out a place for an engagement party. It needs to be reasonable, and able to have about 85 people!

Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip is great...food and service are terrific. You might be able to get your own private room there Another place is Butera''s (Smithtown, Seaford, or Westbury)-also great food and service (Italian); and do a search on here for the Rehearsal Dinner Thread-you will get lots of ideas from there!!!

I had mine at The Three Village Inn and it was excellent! It's also within your price range for a brunch I believe!

I just booked my engagement party at Captain Bills in Bayshore... it was 42 pp and the food is awesome!! Let me know if you want more info, Im very excited!

i had mine at marconi manor in islip. i think it was $48pp for a saturday afternoon, 2pm'ish. it included passed hor douevers (sp?), buffet, pastries/cookies and a DJ

We had ours at the Seaford Memorare on Jackson Ave in Seaford. We had it on a Friday night in November, around 100 people, and paid $35.00pp which included full buffet, open bar, salad, bread, and just about everything you would need for a party. Everyone still keeps talking about how fun it was, and how nice the place was (upstairs ballroom). I would highly recommend it to anyone....

Try Molly Malone's in Bayshore. You would have enough people I think for the room upstairs.

Depends what kind of party you want. Ours will be at jr's steakhouse in stonybrook. Its our own private room which is nice and it is only 15 pp! you can go on the website to check it out. I wanted something quick easy and reasonable.

my sister had her graduation party at Madison Hall in Rockville Center. The food was great, theres a bar, we had a dj for dancing, they have couches in there, we had some tables set up... it was great fun.
