Guys. . .I need your help! I am having my engagement party Sept. 16th. . .and so far I bought my wine colored table cloths. . .favors are wine stoppers (so cute!) and I have no clue what to do for my centerpieces. Should I just do balloons? I kinda wanted to something different. Any of your ideas would be appreciated=)

I think that if u are doing a wine theme ...you should get some balloons and tie them to a bottle of wine (as the balloon weight)...and then raffle them at the end of the night .....evryone loves a bottle of wine

Thanks that is an adorable idea. . .I just read your post about buying things ---I just booked the Hall. By the way, I saw that you are having your wedding in Aruba--awesome! I just got back from there about 3 days ago. I met a couple who rented a private island . . .and I saw their pix on the plane. Are you doing that too? It sounds so nice! Aruba is my fave. island.

I must say, that is a great idea! We're actually having little wine's as part of our favor otherwise I would have done that. Too much alcohol I think.

I'm basically on the same page as you are. My engagement party is on September 9th. We doing balloons for centerpieces but are still contemplating on what we're going to use as the 'table weight' in the center. Preferably something we can 'raffle' off at the end of the night! Where are you having yours?

Lol!! I know. . .I wanted to do table assignments w/ each table a different Wine---Merlot table. . .but I'm just going to to a casual sit wherever for my engagement party b/c it's in a fire house!

I'm soooo glad to hear that you saw some pics ...I havent seen anything so it's been kinda nerve racking ***OMG the church/chapel is amazing ---the island was beautiful---and the ppl looked like they had an amazing time!!!! I almost wished that I was getting married there too!

i didn't even think there wasa chapel.....maybe that's one of theoptions but we are just putting up a flower arch....i cancelled my hall wedding the other day i had it booked in staten island and then we figured out it was too much money

I know. . .tell me about it! That is why I'm waiting two years too! Lol. . .the chapel is entirely white--extremely high ceilings--absolutely amazing. The hotel looks beautiful. . .and you take a little boat from the lobby of your hotel then it goes under a bridge--it's so cool!
