Where did everyone have their engagement party or where are they having it. I need some ideas. I want to have mine in August, year before the wedding. So I need to get cracking Thanks for the help

im having mine in my fils backyard. its going to be casual but done up really nicely. i think fh said theyre getting a tent and were going to have all the tables with centerpieces under it and have a little dance floor. their backyard is HUGE so its going to be really nice and save us some money at the same time. i cant wait!

I was going to have one in my backyard but my parents friends are going to throw it for us as a gift. We are using their backyard and they want to hire a bartender. Something casual is what I want.

We had our engagement party at Villa Umberto's in the Verdi Room. It fits from 65 to 95 people. We had 80. Its a really nice room & the food is absolutely amazing! You cant beat Umberto's inElmont for italian food & thats who owns this Villa. So same chef's. Joe's (FH) parents are friends with the owners. Plus we had a DJ that is a friend of Joes. He had a great setup with lights. It was on Feb 10th 2008. It was so much fun & everbody raved about it for the next week & after. Look into it. I forgot to say that we also had an open bar. But we still had a red&white on the tables in case people did not want to get up during apps/dinner etc. But it seemed as the Martini's & the Cosmos were the drink of the night & well open bar is well worth it! It was awesome!

I had mine at chateau la mer, FM me if you need pricing or any other info. As you might know they offer amazing prices for weddings so for an e-party they do the same.
