engagement party

engagement party

Hi everyone,
FH and I are heading to another engagement party this afternoon and now we kind of want to have one too. We're getting married next March and we'd want to have it in my mom's backyard - but is having it in maybe June or July too late?
And any other suggestions you can offer would be great - it would probably be pretty low key with just family and bridal party and close friends. And we've been together over ten years (we're getting married the day after our 11 year anniversary) so I kind of really do want to celebrate the engagement - it was a long time coming :)

Why not have some kind of themed party? I think a few girls either did or are doing luaus... I think thats such a fun idea!

hey kristen, i don't think that's too late!!! and if you want to do it then you definitely should!!! i read that the e-party should be within a few months of getting engaged and with no less than one year until the wedding, but i think e-parties can be whenever!!

Thanks girls! Now I am thinking June 7th. And it's so funny because FH's best friend just called so I asked for his opinion and he was so positive we should have one that he convinced me! :)

We got engaged in Feb and aren't having our until July because of family and work commitments
