My engagement party is not till the last week of September. Should I hold off on any wedding planning until after the party?

Re: Engagement party
Nooooo. I would definitely do some planning the sooner the better. Things get booked quickly and you get better prices by doing things in advance. IMO the whole 12 months before the wedding is crunch time and I want every major vendor booked by then so I won't be stressed as the day nears.

I agree with the only girls, I would start looking into the major vendors and booking them.

My engagement party is August 15 and we're practically done with everything. We just need limos and we'll be finished.

Don't panic. You're 14 months from your date, you've got tons of time!

Re: Engagement party
Yeah don't panic. We seriously went full speed ahead after we got engaged which was good because now we can lay back and just save until next year but it did get REALLY stressful. At one point to where I was crying over nothing and I needed like a 3 week break from anything wedding related.

Re: Engagement party
Try to book the venue (if you haven't done so yet) and then band. Flowers you can wait until after E-party. If as you find time start researching photogs

Not as long as you think you can handle it all. If you can do both then go for it. Just dont stress yourself out with it.
