Does anyone have an idea if for the engagement favors we have to put the engagement we actually got engaged on? or the date of the Engagement Party?

that is a good question.. I would think the date you had the party. from all the other favors I have seen (e party, baby/bridal showers) it was always the date you had the party I think.

We went back and forth about this - we put the date of the party.
We finally thought - well the people are coming for the party and weren't there for the actual engagement. So the favor is from the party they attended. Plus we got engaged 9/26/09 and our e-party is 3/6/10- if we used the engagement day it would be a different year.
ETA; I totally messed up the years for the dates listed above ((idiot)) lol

If it were me, I would put the date of the engagement party because it's a favor for the actual party.

we went back and forth about this, but we actually put the date of the wedding since it was already booked,
It was like a pre-save the date, not like anyone probably even looked at it but...lol

thank you so much to everyone I want to put the day of the party but my Fiance wants to put the day we 'actually got engaged and that was on 11/8/09 that will be a total different year...This is crazy!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering the same thing, but I ended up going with the date of the engagment party. I figured it would make much more sense to the people at the party.

Lol, I wish I would have waited because I am BIG on Save the Dates especially since the wedding is on a holiday weekend. I am going to send out magnets right after the engagement party b/c I am getting so worried about people making plans for that weekend... I see I have 2 date twins on this forum! how fun!!
