engagement party

hey ladies,

so far all i have done for my engagement party are the invites and venue (brunch at a restaurant in early november). i was wondering if you could help me with ideas/info about centerpieces, favors, etc - anything else i may not be thinking of!?

specifically, what did you do about centerpieces? i don't want to spend a fortune since its just the e-party but i still want it to be pretty. what did you guys do about flowers - florist? put together yourself? help! (PS: candles are not allowed at the restaurant so im open to an alternative to flowers as well but that is not an option)

also, what do you think are good favor ideas?

am i forgetting anything else that needs to be done?

TIA!

I just had my e-party last weekend! My mom ended up putting together the centerpieces, she ordered flowers from one of the florists in town and put them together herself with vases from Ikea. They came out so beautiful! For favors I got pops from AFresh Approach. If you want something edible, you can't go wrong with Jeanne's truffles! I also ordered personalized napkins from foryourparty.com.

FM me if you have any questions!

Re: engagement party

I just ordered my e party favors last night from Afresh approach. The truffles are SOOOOO yummy!!! Send me a message if you want pricing. I'm putting the truffle boxes together myself and I can send you pricing and websites where I ordered everything for super cheap. The truffles of course were the biggest expense.

THIS! My eparty is this weekend and the florist will charge you and arm and a leg for regular made floral centerpieces. But if you have extra vases or can get cheap ones, just buy the flowers and put it together yourself!! That's what we are doing

Good luck!!

My CP's were bowels of chips since I had a bbq. My favors were candies in a favor bag. I used ring pops and kisses.

I had my e-party last November and we did a fall theme. My mom got fall colored flowers from a local florist and bought ceramic pitchers on line and made all the centerpieces. The pitchers were beautiful and reusable. She also made a huge silk sunflowered centerpiece for the card seating table. Wicker baskets with small pumpkins, gourds and silk leaves were sprinkled throughout the restaurant. The room looked beautiful. She claims she spent under $250.

my eparty we did CD favors & my MIL made our centerpeices. We had a brunch in Januaray. Floating fake orchids and candles on a mirrored plate. Very simple (I was also 19 it was 3 years ago haha). Especially for a brunch go simple
