Hi ladies, I was wondering if you know of any places in Brooklyn that have a private party room to host a 75-90 person engagement party. My fiance and I want to kick things off right, but not at a costly hit to our pockets as we are hosting the party. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

If you're doing a daytime engagement party the mermaid inn in the lower east side (http://themermaidnyc.com/) will open for you for a minimum $2000 food purchase. I think it's a $30/pp price fix daytime, and you would get the whole restaurant which holds about 80 people I think.
I know it's not Brooklyn but most of the places I know in Brooklyn are little Russian places that probably wouldn't hold 75 people. Good luck!
