Engagement Party

So our engagement party is on June 15th. Sent out the invites a few weeks ago. Just got an invite for FH's cousins graduation in VA...SAME DAY! Needless to say we're getting an influx of No's...

Anyway...I've done NOTHING to plan for this yet...

I want a country vibe (it's in our backyard)...I'm thinking Mason Jar centerpieces, I want to make a burlap banner with our wedding date on it...What else can I have?! What's some good food ideas?

Thank ladies..can't wait for your input!

Sounds great and michaels sells rolls of burlap that you can use as cheap table runners or accents on your decor! And they also sell mini mason jars that you can put Candy or something inside with a ribbon for a little favor... I was originally going for the same look so that's why I know all of this lol. Ours is June 1st!

Ou! I just asked my friend if Michaels sold burlap!!

Yes! They were on sale for a while and I was tempted to buy them just because.

OOh you know the blue mason jars...well the vintage ones can be super expensive..but just for this year, because it's like the 100th anniversary...they brought back the blue...they're only like $2 each. Colorful, Country, and very easy to stick a candle or flowers in. Viola easy centerpiece!
Listen I'm having a country chic wedding, I'm all about DIY and I'm broke! So if you need any ideas just ask me! lol

I have the jars for the centerpieces (only b/c I make mason jar salads and cold brew coffee!!)...I want a cute favor!

I think something like caramel apples would be so cute as a favor for a county theme... Or also mochaels has these cute mini silver pails that you could fill with candy

You can also cut up some lemons in slices and fill around a jar with water, add some daisies with a cute ribbon and you got your country like centerpieces

HAHAHA, The smaller the better actually...Honestly if it's just 5 people I'd enjoy it b/c then if it's HOT I won't have any qualms about being in the pool all day getting my tan on!
