Friends of ours ( a Groomsmen and his FI) are having their engagement party a few days after we come home from our Honeymoon.. We RSVP'd yes.. WHATS A GOOD GIFT???? (its at the Harbourside in Patchougue) We didnt have an E-party and the last one I was to was 9 years ago...FH has never been to one. HELP!
The way I see it, is unless they have registered (it would have been attached to the invite) a better gift may just be $$$ (they could put it towards their wedding) or a gift certif. Unless they have a place to live together, they may not have anywhere to put the gifts they get.....Lastly, Usually, people would register for their bridal shower..which is closer to the wedding and by that time they are usually registerd. If your still not sure give a call to one of their close friends or parents and ask where the future bride and groom like to shop or what they may need then go there..

I would DEFINITELY say give them $$$$$$ since they are probably going to be saving for their wedding! And I would also bring them a little something from wherever you went on your honeymoon.

I just had my eparty and the majority of people gave us money and it was nice because we put it away for the wedding, I also got tons of toasting glasses which I had to return all of them but one.

we just had our e-party (we registered, but only got a few items off it). The rest was money and gifts. The gifts turned out great...I thnk our guests new us (mostly entertaining - alcohol related gifts , whiskey set, ice bucket, etc). I think money, or gift certificates to macys, BB, fortunoffs would be nice too.
