Did anyone have a card box at their engagement party? Someone mentioned to me, that it may look like I am asking for money. What do you think?
hmmm not sure! i didnt even think of that i am just gonna put a little table out with some balloons and if i see anyone with gifts ill just put them there.

I did not register yet and was going to have a table for gifts. My engagement party is next week, so I am a little confused on what to do and how to set things up.
I am not having an official card box at the e-party. I am actually going to have one, but at my table just a small shoe box.
I am putting out various picture frames and the box is a photo card box. Maybe I won't put a slit on the top, just make it solid. We are attaching it with velcro, so I can just take the top off it people hand me cards or anything small.
That is a great idea!! Any thing little could go in there!
I don't want to feel like I am being pushy, but I haven't registered so some of my gifts will be gift cards or money.
I am having my eparty in June. We are going to register for a few things, but I am going to have a cardbox (a birdcage) in case people give us cards. This way I can put it right on the present table and not worry about loose cards floating around on that table and getting lost.
