Okay so now that the invitations are in the works we need to move on the the engagement party attire...so girls I turn to you.
We are having a small-ish party about half of the people who are actually being invited to the wedding. It is going to be at my parents-in-law to be house. hors d'ouevres and cocktails and cake. Nothing too too fancy but clearly not jeans.
Now I would like a nice dress but want to look for something not very expensive. I checked out the major stores and don't see anything that's jumping out to me..... any recommendations???? stores or sites that have nice stuff???????

You can try Bebe, thats where I got my dress (its in my album). Or Forever 21, H&M, Guess, Macy's, lord and taylor, bluefly.com Victoriasecrets.com, kenneth cole, Guess, Anthropologie,etc.

H&M might be a good place to look. Or what about Kohl's? I've personally never found a dress I love there...but my sister does all the time.
I love Banana Republic...could be pricey...but everyone is having sales now
I got mine from Bloomingdales, you should check there because all clearance is an extra 50% off, also Banana Republic is another store I always do good at
