I am having my bridal party and immediate family at our engagement party. Should I be giving out favors? I thought about Godiva...any other ideas?...thoughts? Thanks!

Re: Engagement Party Favors
Its always nice to walk away from the party with something, but its an added expense. I don't think its necessary. I got life-saver wrappers on ebay for my e-party.

Re: Engagement Party Favors
I gave something small...I bought little organza bags off of ebay, filled them with Hershey's Hugs and Kisses, then hot glued a pretty bow with a flower in the middle to them with a tag that says: Hugs and Kisses From the Future Mr and Mrs'

Re: Engagement Party Favors
I gave out the one on the left at my engagement party.
We gave out wedding cake candles. My FMIL found them in the 99 cent store and because she bought so many they gave her a much better price, .99 for 2. Everyone loved them . Godiva chocolate is also a great idea, who wouldn't want chocolate?

Re: Engagement Party Favors
Our e party is on Saturday and we are giving out chocolate lollipops (1 per person), and silver picture frames (1 per couple). I think favors are fun to have...but not necessary.

Re: Engagement Party Favors
We are giving personalized coffee packets as our favors. It was cute and different. We got them from theknot.com and they were less then a dollar a piece. It is Columbian coffee and each packet makes a 12 cup pot. We brewed one this weekend and it was pretty good.
I just had my engagement party last weekend and although I only invited family and clost friends it ended up being 100 people. Everyone was really appreciative of the favors (my future mother in law made 3-D mini three-tiered wedding cakes out of white chocolate with a bride and groom on top. If you have the time I would suggest making chocolate we got our chocolate and molds at Kerri's candies.

Re: Engagement Party Favors
I gave out cute little silver frames that had 3 different wedding theme things on them and inside each picture frame, was our E-pic. Wraped it up nice and one favor per couple. I found the picture frames at 'Crazy Al's' in Commack for $1 a piece and they didn't look cheap.

Re: Engagement Party Favors
I like the idea of giving something small out --
we had to small pear shaped candles (and pear scented) 'the perfect pair'
