My friends are throwing me an engagement party, about 12 girls for a brunch....do people give favors for a brunch engagement party?

Give something small, maybe mini size champagne bottles. Or little girly thing ( change purse, cooking, spa set).

We didn't do favors at our engagement party. I figured we'd obviously be giving them out at the wedding and our engagement party was informal....

I really like the idea of a change purse (since you mentioned it would be all girls)... and that'd be something they could fit in a clutch or a small purse.

I had a BBQ themed Eparty. I gave out Red&White checkered 'To Go Bags' which included BBQ Sauce, pastry brush and corn holders. I think you should get something small for the girls. They are taking you out so it's nice to do something for them or you could also send them something after along with the thank you card

You can do small boxes of truffles. Afresh Approach does amazing chocolates and will work with you to make up something that fits what you need!

I made chocolate in the shape of a ring box and there was a little chocolate ring inside the box. The pics are in my photo album

Re: Engagement party favors??
We are doing a 40 person party on a saturday evening and we are doing favors. But i hate giving things i know i wouldn't want...so we are doing cake pops - Easy to make and inexpensive. We are putting them in mini martini glasses (the wilton martini class favor kits)

Re: Engagement party favors??
If you have a Michael's or an AC moore by you there's plenty of stuff there to make the cake pops. Here's a youtube demo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80PCMoL2xrM
If that seems too challenging...just fill a container with candy - like you can take a smaller container and fill with m&m's that have a pic of you and your fiancee or just a regular graphic.
Or if you want something larger - choose some candy you both like or cookies
We are putting on the box/container - It was so sweet of you to celebrate with us.
Orientaltrading.com has some stuff you could use. What about candy bar w/ custom wrappers?
