Ok, so my husband's cousin is getting married and they're throwing her an engagement party. I assume we're supposed to get her a gift but I don't know what. Since we're going to be getting her a gift for her bridal shower and for the wedding and money is tight, it has to be something small. She's not even registered anywhere yet. What should we get her? TIA.

Usually cash is given at the e-party. All e-parties i've attended, i gave cash as a gift. Also at our own e-party we ONLY received cash gifts and not one actual gift.

We had a family/close friends e-party. We received gifts and gift cards.
Frames/photo albums ect, cocktail sets.....it was all appreciated. My favorite was actually the frame because I put the portrait FH and I took during our engagement cruise in it as soon as I got home.

gift cards and money are definitely the popular e-party gifts.. but since money is tight.. what about a picture frame or lenox vase??

I would not give money of money is tight! I like the suggestion of a pretty vase or frame. I got a bunch and have since filled them with e-pics and wedding pics! You can find something pretty that is not expensive. We also received a platter that was pretty and mugs that were cute (that were not on our registry). We received a grilling knife set that my DH loves...I doubt it was expensive but it was pretty neat. You can get creative...check places like HomeGoods or even Kohls.

Well, if you are REALLY pressed for cash, you can get them this photo album. It includes an engagement, bridal shower, and wedding album, i think. It's definitely something they would use. It's 12.99 in Bed, Bath, and Beyond...and with the coupon, even less! I got this as an additional gift to go along with the big gift for my brother's engagement party.
I would get them lolita martini glasses, they have the engaged one too. I LOVE these glasses and got this as a gift. They are hand painted glasses and have lots of different themes. Its $21 for each glass so the set would be $42
