Engagement Party Help!

Here is the deal...My FH just realized that he may not be able to attend his own engagement party due to his job (officer). Right now through May 6 we know that he has weekends off...Soo we have to have it earlier. The problem is we can not have a BBQ because it would be too cold.!

Do you or any of your friends or family members suggest any places to have the party? We are having about 60-75 ppl and are looking for good pricing *ex: under $25 pp. ANy suggestions would help. Thanks ladies!

hmmm beginning of May might actually not be bad for a bbq, but don't know if you want to take that chance. You can always get a tent, but not sure again if you want to do that.

I see alot of ppl having it at a firehouse, i have no clue how its done or any info on this but someone will definitely have more info for you.

Good luck, hope you find something

I do not live in LI so I do not know any places to suggest. If you do decide to have it at a restaurant you need to book it very soon because May is a very busy month because of Communions and Confirmations. HTH

I am having mine at a hall that you rent out and bring in your own food and alcohol. If you are interested in something like this fm me and I will give you the details. Its pretty cheap.

def try at a Knights of Columbus hall because you can rent the hall and then cater your own food or have them cater and the prices arnet bad...

I don't know where your located, but why don't you look around your area for Pizzaria/restaurants. they are usually pretty reasonable, andsome can be really nice. I have a bunch around my house(central suffolk area) they are a regular pizza place, but they have a really nice italian restaurant in the back that you would never even know is there. they will close it down for you to have a private party too!

Try W. Sayville Country club. FSIL just had a party there and it was in that price range.
