Engagement Party Ideas

Good Morning everyone!

I was wondering about good and fun things that are not too expensive that we could do at the engagement party. The engagement party is going to be at a restaurant so we're kind of limited on space and whatnot.

My mom suggested we get live music (she found 2 guys who come with guitars to sing and whatnot) but I'm not sure if that's 'fun' necessariy.

Anyone have any other ideas for me?

We are having a DJ and 3 cupcake towers....someone on the '10 board suggested doing a candy buffet!

LOL yeah, that could be fun for me and Craig, but slightly stressful for our guests :) We'll see how many gifts we get and then decide lol :)

opening gifts, music and my sis put my FH on the spot and we discussed how we first met, first dates etc.. FH made a speech.. we laugh at jokes, ate and had fun!

sometimes your crowd is all the fun you need.
