Engagement Party Invitation wording

Does anyone have any good wording ideas for an engagement party invitation? I want to try making them and can't think of a cute way to write them out. Any ideas are appreciated.

it was a simple little invitation, and a very informal type of party in my parent's backyard for only those immediately involved in the wedding and our familes. sot really an engagement party, but a chance for everyone to meet....

I think it went like this....

Dennis popped the question
Jennifer said Yes
Now we are popping a bottle

Join us as we celebrate the engagement of Jennifer to Dennis

Yeah, we're not having that many people...just closest family and friends. I want to make a nice invite....

I made my invitations too. On the cover it said: 'The Greatest moment of her life, Chris asked Jeannie to be his wife!' And on the inside it said 'Please join us in celebrating' Then listed the details. I'll post a pic when I get home (my e-party is this Friday!)
