engagement party invite wording ?

Ladies
I am working on my invitations for our engagement party and I need some assistance!

For all those who read my prior post re: the invites. I found the one I loved ($5 per invite...which was nuts). Ordered a blank sample for $3 and scanned it into vista to create my own at a must cheaper price! woohoo

ANYWAYS...I would really like to include our wedding website with information about our registry on the invite....how would you guys word it????

thanks

I wouldnt put registry info on the invite....Thats telling the guests 'buy me something', seems kinda tacky

BUT include the wedding website, that way guests will have it for future reference if the are interested (Just include it as a 'bullet' on the bottom of the invite)

technically...etiquette i believe states that a gift is not required for e-parties. listing it will make it seem like its mandatory.
i would leave it off, perhaps if family members ask your parents they can pass it by word of mouth.

i dont mean to sound all greedy or anything butttt....receiving monetary gifts at the e-party will prob be more beneficial to you because you can use it for deposits and stuff.

we rec'd a few gifts at our e-party and then the rest money and we opened up a CD with it to get some interest to help towards the wedding

im including a card with our wedding website and putting it in the envelope--

i know its wrong to put the registry itself, but it is on my website, and i've had quite a few ask me where im registered, so i figured it was a more round-about way of giving the information

Why not put it on a separate card (business card size). I think it may look nice that way.

my invitation is in my album if you'd like to see how i worded mine.

ETA: i would just put a seperate registry card w/ it if you'd like people to know. Usually they will just ask though (we've had several guests ask us although we dont plan on registering till after)

This is my E-party invitation from the wedding paper divas.
We got mostly $$ and a few gifts at our E-party.
I really wouldn't put any registry info on the invitation.

Not that gifts really matter, but we made back what we spent and then some.

We made our own invites. If you want the wording I can send it to you in FM, b/c its at home on my laptop ( I'm at work hehe).

we didnt include registry info because we aren't registering til after...

we're hoping the gifts we do get are monetary so we can open an account together
