Engagement Party Location Suggestion...

Hi Guys:

This is my first post (I am sure there will be many more, lol). I am newly engaged and wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions on where I should host an engagement party. We are not planning on getting married for 3-5 years so I wanted to have a little party in the meantime. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I want to have it in Suffolk County. I think we will probably wind up going with the Snapper Inn. I just love them. Do you guys think it is cheesy to have a cocktail party as your eparty? My Fiance seems to think so but I dont want to have a eparty that is too wedding-like. What do you guys think?
