Engagement Party-NEED HELP PLEASE

Hello All. I am new here and was hoping some of you lovely ladies can help me. I am helping my parents plan an engagement party for myself and my FH. We are going to have about 90 people, and about 30 of the 90 will be kids (his fam is HUGE and 14 of the 30 are nieces and nephews)
We are renting a hall and having a DJ. I figured one thing to do with the kids is musical chairs. But after that, I am out of ideas. I know if the kids are happy, the parents will have a good time. I also know I can't please everyone, but I would like to try. If anyone has any ideas on what we can do to include the kids it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sitting them all together at 'kids tables?' They would probably enjoy that a lot more than sitting with their parents, if their parents would be okay with it.

You could put together kiddie gift baskets too and have them set up at each kids place setting before they get there this way they have something to keep them entertained.

You could vary the contest of the gift baskets according to the age group of the kids. . .

I am definately going to make favor bags for each kid, but thank you for the great idea with age. The kids range from 13 to 3 months (by that time)
We were going to let everyone sit where they want, but making 3 kids tables is a good idea too. I am so glad I joined today!

I know it will probably kill your party, but do the Casper slide and the cotton eyed joe. Kids love that stuff! And Hand outs! Kids love those blow up guitars!

I would make a kids table - and also maybe provide the kids with coloring books to color? or maybe hire a baloon artist to make them balloons.

Another suggestion is to make the DJ play some 'kids songs' and make them sing along to it with a microphone. just like 1 or 2 songs - you dont want the kids to be taken away from your engagement celebration

Check out Oriental Trading, they have plenty of doo-dads and stuff to keep the kids occupied at your party
