I really don't see any cons...it's not like ppl will have to take off of work. I've been to plenty of e-parties on Friday nights. It's a great night to party.

We were torn opver the same thing, and wound up having it on Sat afternoon. Our wedding will be on a Friday, and we just felt bad making everyone take a half day. Plus our city friends would have to prob take the day off.

what if i have people coming from florida?? i guess that makes it a bit inconvienant for them right?

Mine is on Sat afternoon, but I really don't see any cons for a Sat night. If you have OOT guests, it might be an issue. FH family is OOT, and they are coming on Fri, so they have time to relax before the party. Your Florida guests would have to take Fri off.... but lots of people love any excuse to take a day off of work!!

My best friend had a Sunday afternoon during football season - all the guys were in the bathroom checking the scores (the attendant had a little tv so he could watch the game)

I would really like a Fri night party - something to look forward to all week!

I don't see anything wrong with it either. I think Friday and Saturday nights are prime time to celebrate anything, especially an engagement!!

If I could do it, I would do a Friday night. Great way to kick off the weekend. We are still trying to figure out what we are going to do for a e-party...
