Would love some ideas for engagement party outfits. We're having our EP @ The Orchid restaurant in Garden City. The party is from 1-4 (a lunch) on a Sunday afternoon.
Cute strapless dress? White? A color?

I'm always one for color, especially in the spring/summer. Save white for the big day, and I think that black is too dark for this time of the year...but some people like black anytime since it's classy...it's really up to you. I say have fun and get something really girly and colorful! There are some really pretty sundresses out in Nordstrom and Bloomies.

I agree. My SIL did white for her engagement and I thought she was trying to 'forshadow' her wedding. Gayyyy.

Check out jcrew...they have a big sales on some of their summer dresses. Lots of cute strapless ones that aren't too beachy.

Just bought three dresses and a pair of pants @ jcrew for under 200 dollars including shipping!
