My FH and I are looking to have an engagement party in November and aren't sure of where to have it. We would like to keep it in Suffolk. We wanted to find a Mexican place (we both love Mexican food and margaritas!) but I haven't been able to find one that has a private room. Any suggestions of a Mexican or another nice place? We will probably be having about 50ish people or so.

There is this place in Smithtown called La Panchita. It's right on main street. Honestly, I've never been there, but many of my friends have and they love it (I'm not big on this type of food). I'm not sure if they can accomodate you, but it's worth giving them a call! HTH

i had my Epart at Papa Joe's in Deer Park. It is NOT mexican, clearly its italian, but if u change ur mind on type of food, it was great!!!!
the food was so good the room is very nice, i had about 55 ppl...u have to guarantee 60 for the larger space (but if u have ppl that dont show, u get to take xtra dinners home!! i took home 5 dinners )

Gina- I looked at your e-pics and it was really nice! I actually after counting realized it probably more about 75 ppl (to be invited) so it will be more like 60's anyway. Could you tell me the quotes you got there?
