Engagement Party Question

I was just wondering... Which family members do I invite to an Engagement Party?

Basically, I got engaged in July and some family members had a quick surprise get together with the closest family afterwards to celebrate with an official engagement party to come. Nobody knew until day of.

My wedding is going to be rather small.. probably 75-100 people. I feel like if I invite all my family members... thats probably atleast half the people in attendence. I don't know if that seems silly or not. Any advice would be really appreciated. Even just saying who is traditionally invited to these things. Thanks!!

Our family did the same thing! They threw us a little surprise get together after we got engaged at FH's Dad's house. It was really cute We just had our actual Engagement Party in September and we invited all our family, the bridal party, and our closest friends (we didn't want to upset anyone by leaving them out). I think we invited about 90 people and 65 actually came which was mostly family). Whatever you decide to do, just remember to celebrate and have fun
