So My engagement is in a week. My parents and my FIL's are throwing the party. I was think I need to buy them each a gift as a thank you. A) do you think this is necessary? and B) Any suggestions on what I should get them?
My thoughts so far:
1) The Picture and Invite Frame 2) Photo Albums for the Pictures (We are Having a Photographer) 3) A gift certificate to a restaurant

My dad paid for our e-party. He said that it was one of his gifts to us. We didn't get him anything, but are going to be going a little overboard on his birthday gift this year (next week).
I did however, buy corsages for my moh's, bm's, mother, and FMIL to wear during the party.
ETA: I love giving gift certs to restaurants. We buy these for FH's parents all of the time as thank yous.

parents are throwing us our eparty as a gift to us...I def want to get them something as well...i love your ideas!!!!
As far as it being necessary??I donlt know...in my family we give gifts for every little thing so for us I def want to ..altho we will prob be told...why did you do this, you need to save but I cant help myself...I think you should do what is comfy for you and fh!!

My parents are paying a large majority of the eparty. I'd love to do something special for them but I know FH will feel bad because his parents can't even stand to be in the same room, nevermind pay for anything.
