Engagement Party Speeches

Hi All,

My FI and I want to give a small thank you speech to everyone for coming to our engagement party and to thank our parents for hosting it and also for helping with the wedding planning.

Did anyone else do this? If so, what did you say? Any ideas would be appreciated.

We thanked everyone for coming and our firends and family forhelping us and supporting us and thanked our BP in advance for being a prt of our wedding.

We didn't write a speech but my FH and I did take the microphone to thank our parents and guests that came.
I secretly bought my FH an engagement gift and took the mic and presented that to him and then a whole slew of speeches began afterwards.(My father, his father, my best friend, his friend.)It got crazy, BUT it was all love.

It's a nice thing to do whether you do it from the heart or on paper.

We gave an impromtpu speech thanking my parenst for throwing the party and thanking both of ur parents, in advance, for all of the help they would give us with the wedding and all of their support through the years.

MY FH AND I ALSO GAVE A LITTLE SPEECH AT OUR ENGAGEMENT PARTY THANKING THEM. OUR BP ALSO DID A LITTLE BLURB FROM EVERYONE FOR ME AND MY FH. WHICH I THOUGHT WAS CUTE AND WAS UNPLANNED FROM MY END.... THAT WAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!!!
