Hey ladies......so FH and I are thinking about having an engagement party in the April / May time and were looking for some suggestions. We are paying for it ourselves so we don't want it to be too expensive. We are figuring about 60 - 70 people and want a place in the eastern Nassau or western Suffolk area.....any suggestions? Thanks for the response....I will definitely check them out. I had no idea catering halls would do a small party like that. I thought I would have to do a restaurant.
Yeah, there was a wedding going on so they gave us the room used for cocktail hour once they were done....so you would have to be ok with haveing your party start a little later...I think we had an 8:00 start. We did more of a cocktail party with passed hor'dervs (cant spell) and then dinner was more of a 'station' style than buffet.
I also had mine at chateau la mer. they did an awesome job. If you're looking for a restaurant check out sacramones in east meadow. Amazing!!!
