engagement party toast, help!

We are having our e-party next week and we are doing a champage toast. After our family says a few words we are wondering what we shoud say and how we should say it? I know thanks you for comming but, what else do we need to say and when do you do toast?(we are doing it in a american legion so we have food caterer and doing buffet style). Thanks girls in advance!

What I did was I thanked everyone for coming and told them that I booked already and where I booked. Then I had a loving speech about how I met my FH and how we fell in love... everyone loved it and there was not a dry eye!
