sooo my engagement party is sunday...yayy....buuut the bad news is that my aunt just died...she lived in florida, but was from long island and her husband is buried here so fri and sat are the wake and funeral...and on top of that my other aunt is in the hospital here suffering from congestive heart failure and now i don't think she or her husband will make it....i'm coping with the death ok (i think being in healthcare and seeing it so often you sort of get a little blunted to emotion sometimes especially when someone has been sick a while)...but what's annoying is the head count for this party keeps changing hourly...this one can't come then potentially we have to add 6 for out of town people coming in...then someone else calls out...it's just getting so crazy and between trying to plan out tables and prepare and then funeral plans...im tapped...

yes it's at a restaurant on sunday from 11-3...i wound up taking off friday from work...i wasn't going to because i only have a few vaca days left until the end of year, but i'm too stressed...with family coming in thurs night for the party and then other family coming in for the funeral...friday is the wake, sat is the funeral...i was supposed to go sat and potentially leave a deposit on my RH...and wanting to ask the other family to come to the party if they would like, but then needing a def answer for a head count and feeling pushy in a hard time...

i hope so...it's just like leaving last minute stuff to really last minute now...like my seating charts, place cards, confirming with the restaurant...stuff i tried to get done early u know
