So fh and I have been engaged since september of 09 and only now did my parents offer to throw us an engagement party... is it too late?? I don't care I want it lol if so we want to spend like 30-50 dollars per person for about 50-75 people..give me reccomendations of places / opinions please!!!

We looked into having ours at Shandon Court in East Islip. We were told 40pp for 100 people.

I had mine at Katy Daly's in Massapequa. Everyone raved about the food and the service was great! They have two rooms for parties.

I was at an engagement party on a Sunday at Novita and it was great!

absolutly not! You still have a year b4 the party! you don't have to invite EVERYONE that is going to be invited to the wedding.

Definitely not too late. Your wedding isn't until 2012! I think as long as its at least a year before your wedding...its fine.

We are having ours at HR Singleton's on V-Day weekend....they have great packages and prices!

I did mine at Black Forest Cafe in Farmingdale, It was 45pp with 50 people minimum for the garden room people loved it

we had our at Frankling Caterers in Franklin Square..food is amazing! and its like $30 a head.
