Engagement Pary Question

Engagement Pary Question

I didn't have an E party myself - and I'm not sure what is appropriate -

our friends registered for their E party (Do people do that???)

Anyway - if they invited me and the DH, what is an appropriate amount to spend.

Its at a hall with a buffet dinner.

I am hearing more anf more of people registering for their EP. I would say if you are close with them you should spend about $75.00 maybe..

for the negagement parties we've attended we've spent $50-$100 depending on how close we are with the couple. usually we give money unless we know they've registered.

we registered for our e-party and got a good chunk of stuff. We got gifts anywhere from $30-$200 depending on closnest. I would say $100 per couple is what we give

same here. and we registered prior only because FMIL made us! but it turned out great. we only put a few things on the registry and now that we've gotten closer to the date, we added more stuff. when I go to e-party's, we usually give a check for $100 if they're not registered yet.
