So, we're going to have our E photo taken soon. We were wondering if we should have it taken with 'the boys.' Rigel a GSD and Circuit a boxer. Since we're getting married on 2/13/10 we're not sure how the weather will be and if they will be able to be included in pics at the beach that day.
So, should the boys be in for the E photo which will be used as our STD????

has anyone done e-pics on the beach in winter??? LOL will i DIE of hypothermia???? or is it bearable if its a quick 15-20 minute shoot?

Re: Engagement Photo
it is probably freezing...but the good thing is that you will have the beach to yourself...
in the warmer weather the beaches will be more crowded and could get in the way of the shots.

Re: Engagement Photo
that is SUCH a good point!! i didn't realize that once it gets nice out it will be hard to find isolated parts of the beach!
i can totally bear the cold for a bit to get a nice romantic shot...
people in Siberia would probably laugh at me for even worrying about the cold LOL

Re: Engagement Photo
if you bring them with you, you will also need to bring other people with you so they can hold them when you are taking pictures without them...

i'm a little torn..on one hand i think its cute but on the other hand im like 'ughhh' if you are the kind of couple who is obsessed with your animals then i guess it makes sense. like i said im on teh fence .. its like ok this is your wedding and your e-pictures and should express the love you have for eachother...not the animals. you knwo what i mean?

In addition to being a teacher, I'm also a dog trainer. I could probably arrange for someone to take them to the kennel the day of the wedding.
As for the pics at the beach...we were hoping to be able to (although it might be freezing) hit a local beach for some pics. Patken Studios has a pretty neat beach background. I think we'll use that for the epics.

I totally know what you mean. There's a lot of background with us and these dogs. I feel (sometimes) that it was a non-furry child adoption. It's hard to explain.
