Engagement Photo Questions

Hi Ladies! I have my engagement photos Monday with Jay Lim at Raphael Vineyards! So excited!! A few questions-

how much should I tip Jay (he is my photographer and the owner of the company)

Do I need specific poses?

Did everyone do an outfit change?

Lets pray for GOOD weather!

We tipped like $40, but initially only had a $20 in there. We added another 20 at the end because we had a blast and thought our photographer did a great job. I wore a maxi dress and didn't do an outfit change. And no, you don't need specific poses, the photographer will tell you what to do

We tipped $25... Jay is great!!! You will have so much fun! He will mostly put you into the poses he wants you in, but don't feel like you can't be creative and do your own thing! FH and I went in with a few ideas of our own... we told him about them and tried them out!

We sort of did an outfit change... I started out in heels, skinny jeans a tank top and a cardigan, FH started out in nice black shoes, dark jeans a button down and a blazer. When we were ready for more casual photos we both got rid of the top layer (leaving me in a tank and FH rolled up the sleeves to his shirt) then we changed shoes into flip flops/sandals and it was quick and easy!!

I tipped $50 and my photographer owns the company. I didn't go with any poses in mind. I also took my e-pics in a vineyard. We walked around and he would randomly stop and tell us how to pose and would occasionally snap a few candids. I did a mini outfit change. I wore skinny jeans and knee high boots (I took my epics in October). I wore a brown cami and switched my shirt so in some pics I'm wearing a white sweater and in other pics I'm wearing an orange cardigan.

We tipped JayLim $50. I didn't bring any specific pose ideas. He's so talented I let him do whatever he wanted. I did ask him to take one shot of my ring. We also didn't do an outfit change. I couldn't be bothered with that.

Did Jay Lim confirm with you ladies? I just called about tomorrow and the office is closed today. I didnt receive a confirmation call yesterday, is that a problem??

I didn't tip the day of, we're waiting until we get the proofs and then we are going to send $50 with one of our favorite pictures and a thank you card.
