ENGAGEMENT PHOTO TIPPING

I need advice really fast..hopefully someone is out there this morning. i wanted to know if it is typical to tip your photographer for engagement photos or if it can just wait until after the wedding since its the same photographer.

How many of you tipped for engagement photos, if so how much?
