Engagement Photos

You ladies are the best and I need your opinion on this.

Mike and I want to have our enagement photos taken ASAP for STD magnets etc. However, it is winter time and we want to take our photos outside. We would love to do it either in CP or at the Bkln Bridge promenade...Do you think it'll look weird that we're sending out pics taken in the winter time for a summer wedding? I know its silly but I dont know Im second guessing the idea.

Thank so much girls!!!!!!!!

Re: Engagement Photos

me & matty are hoping for snow this weekend - we want our e-pics to be in the winter as well!!

i dont think just because its a summer wedding that you have to have a summer STD. my STD's have a pic of us @ a wedding - we look like the bride & groom in it already!!

just make sure you look happy - that is all anyone wants to see on a STD - a happy couple!!

ok- that sounds like something I would say- not YOU (the far more normal one) I think the contrast would be lovely. and you can find some great areas in Prospect Park- who needs Manhattan. the Arch at Grand Army is a great area...as is in front of the Brooklyn Museum.

You could also consider doing pictures at the Botanical Gardens if they're still open.

I wouldn't worry about the contrast. Christine and I both took our STD pics in Fall and yet we're getting married in the Spring!!

Maybe you even take some pictures ON the Brooklyn Bridge!!! That would be awesome!

I think it would be great to do it at a different time of year. Plus the holidays are coming and you can incorporate that into your STD's to make it more appropriate for the time of year. Does that make sense?? Geez, I think my brain is fried today!!! It'll be fine!!!

Thanks Jess!

Thank you ladies...you're right it'll be a cool contrast since our wedding pics will reflect the summer time.
