Engagement photos

Hi Girls,

I'm going for my engagement photos on Monday (getting married in October...I've sort of put this off!)
Any idea on what I should wear? Photographer said casual, just don't clash. Also, I was going to get my makeup done and have my hair blownout, but FH says I should just do my own makeup and hair. He thinks I'll look too 'made-up' for a casual picture.

What do you guys think?

Are you doing black & white or color?

We did black and white and coordinated out outfits (lame I know). He wore cream shirt/black pants, I wore black shirt/cream pants.

I wish I had had my hair done professionally but there was not time and it was raining so it wouldn't have mattered.

If your FH doesn't like you so made up, then just go very light with the makeup and skip the professional application.

Your pictures came out so nice!!

He's going to shoot in color, but he said he can turn any picture from color to B&W. (I prefer B&W and the majority of my wedding photos will be B&W)

I'm going to show FH your pictures...I mentioned matching outfits to him earlier...I think if he sees how nice it looks...we may go that route as well!

We were very casual and we went to the beach we were coordinated. We both wore red tops and khaki bottoms

i JUST came home from doing my epics!
i wore a white sundress with khaki colored sandals & John wore khaki pants and a white shirt. You should wear coordinating colors as per the photographer. i wished i could have had my hair & makeup done professionally but there is no need, be yourself and enjoy!

Shamma, your e-pics came out so nice. I love that you both wore the same thing. We never took e-pics, now I kind of wish we had.
