Engagement photos?

What is the deal with engagement photos? Is it just for you announcement?

Good question bc I am getting one included in my package and have no clue as to what I am going to use it for.

We are using our engagement photos for a photo guest book for the reception. I also ordered prints of some of my favorites to have at home and in my office.

The main thing, though, was that it gave us a chance to interact with our photographer and make sure we would be happy with his work. The engagement shoot really confirmed that we got along well with Paul (important, since we'll be spending a lot of time with him the day of the wedding) and that his work really was as beautiful as the samples he showed us.

We're going to display a bunch of our epics in the hospitality area of our RH.

A lot of brides use them for their STD's and table numbers. I plan to use them for our card box and I think I may make a photo guest book with them. I already bought a guest book but I really like the look of photo guest books.

A lot of brides use them for their STD's, table numbers, guestbooks, etc. A lot of photographers say its a nice way to get acquainted with the bride and groom or for you and FH to see how you interact with the photog. They are included in my package and I just want them because FH and I really don't have that many pics of us together so it will be nice to have some fun, romantic pics of the two of us.

I plan on using them for table numbers. We also wanted to see how our photographer works and if we click. We also dont have many pictures of the 2 of us so we thought it would be nice. Plus they were included

it's a good way to get to work with the photographer prior to the wedding. if you dont get along with him on the epix, then at least you have a chance to look for someone else to do for the actual wedding.

i'm getting epix bec we plan to do a slideshow presentation at the reception.

We had a great time at our e-shoot. We're using them for table numbers and for a pic of us when guests walk in. We got a chance to get to know our photographer better and plus we'll have professional pics of us to look back on when we're older.

We used them for the STD. We also had a large 8x10 print made for us, 5x7's for our parents, and 4x6's for our siblings. I bought frames for all of them and gave them to the family.

We exchanged the engagement pics for an extra photo album. We didn't do our own table numbers and I made a photo guestbook out of candid pics of me and FH... so I had no use for e-pics.

We used the same photographer that my brother used for his wedding 5 years ago so I was very comfortable in knowing what I would get.

its more for you to work with your photographer and also for you photog to see how you photograph and how you work together. the bonus is you get nice pics of you two
