FH and I are getting our engagement photos done next Saturday! I know it's pretty quick as we were only engaged last week, but I want to get them done while its still Fall-ish out and there are still some pretty colors on the trees. We are going to Central Park and around there. Has anyone had their pictures done? I don't know what to wear!!!!

Re: Engagement Photos
I just had mine done this past Tuesday! We wanted fall pics as well. I wore dark blue skinny jeans, tall brown boots, a white top and a khaki color sweater. FH wore jeans and a cream colored sweater. We went for the very relaxed, casual look. Had it been summer I would have worn a dress, but it was COOOOOOLD!!!

Re: Engagement Photos
E-pics are sooo fun!! We took our pics last Friday and the foliage was gorgeous! I wore a short-sleeved dress with boots and FH wore pants and a button-down (we went a little dressy). Most of our pictures were at an indoor location (where we met), so I was able to suffer through the cold for an hour for the outdoor shots.
Just some advice... For weeks I stressed myself out over what to wear! Then I realized what is most important is our love for each other. Whatever what you wear, that is what will show :) Have so much fun!!

My favorite 'fall outfit' is a dolman sleeve sweater dress, tights, boots (anything from booties to knee high, maybe suede?), maybe a cute pea coat, and some funky jewelery.

Im trying to figure out what to wear for my e-pics :) I was going to wear skinny jeans and high boots but wasn't sure if I should..We are taking them in brooklyn under the bridge. I wanted to go casual and fall like since it will be cold :)

Re: Engagement Photos
Thanks for the ideas ladies! I'm definitely thinking the boots and either jeans or a sweater dress is the way to go. Now to shop!!
I LOVE the Brooklyn Bridge idea and wish we could fit it in to our session as FH is from Brooklyn, but I don't think it will work. We shall see. I know we are starting in Central Park and I have given our photographer some ideas of things we would like to do or incorporate into our pictures (like Starbucks since thats where we met). I hope the trees hang onto their leaves until next Saturday!
