My Fiance and I are wondering how long after we take our Engagement photos can we get the picture put on our save-the -dates?? We need to get our save the dates out and haven't taken our Engagement photos yet! So we wanted to know if we should wait to take our pictures or just send out save-the -dates w/o our picture on it? Please help!!!

STDs don't need to go out until a year to 6 months before your wedding. I just got one the other day and the wedding is in Nov so thats only 5 months out. You have time but I would get your e-pics done soon. Some places can give you your pics online within a week or two, depends where you get them from.

It looks like your wedding is July 4th weekend, so I agree that you do have to get them out soon. Most photographers give you digital images, so I doubt you'll have to wait more than a week after your engagement session to have access to the photos.

I'm not taking my epics until October and am planning to send my STDs in early November (8 months prior to my wedding).

Thank you everyone =).....Yea we figured since it's 4th of July weekend we should send them out a little earlier than usual. We'll prob send them out at the end of August just to be on the safe side. Hopefully we'll have taken our epics by then! I appreciate all of your input!!
