Engagement Photos

How many have done engagement photos? If so, was it included when you booked your photographer & have you used them for STDs?

I haven't checked into many photographers, but several do include e-pics in some of their packages. Those packages might be their more expensive ones though..

Yes, many photographers include e-photos in some of their packages.

A friend of FH's is a professional photographer so he took some pictures of us after we got engaged (one of those pictures is my profile pic for this site )

Already booked a photographer and e-photos are included in the package. I will probably use those photos for the STDs along with some that FH's friend took because I absolutely love them.

My Groupon is to 'MG Photography.' I never heard of them before I bought it but they really take beautiful pictures! It was for a 60-minute on-location shoot, personal picture webpage with print-released photos, one 8x10 print, and two 4x6 prints.

I also have a 60 minute shoot anywhere on Long Island, but the downside is that no prints are included I'm also looking for late summer/early fall. Did you call the photographer yet to set up a date or are you waiting until the time you want to take the pics gets closer?

Ours is actually anywhere in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, or Queens...so we're going to have to pick somewhere from those choices. I think I'm going to wait until the end of Summer to make the appointment. I'd hate the idea of making the appointment now and worrying what to wear while I shop for summer clothes, haha. Obv I've got my priorities straight.

2013er Crashing! FH and I went to meet with Studio 27 and Franco(I think that was his name ) was super nice but their prices for their packages are definately high and they admit that. They dont inclide e-shoots in their packages so good for you on finding the groupon! Anywho FH and I decided to go with T and T studios and their VERY reasonably priced and willing to negotiate and they DO include e-shoots in their packages. Any ladies looking for photo/video stil should defiately check out T and T!! Ask for Hal!!

Thanks for the tip! I'm not looking to break the bank on photo/video so I'm definitely open to other suggestions. I just hope it's not really awkward if I use him for the e-shoot and then don't book him for the wedding

You dont have to but most girls like to use the pix from their e-shoots on them. Im super excited for our e-shoot... Ahhh beach photos here I come

nope- It's not necessary, but most people like to add photos to the STDs. Totally up to you
