Engagement Photos-Outfits

Hey ladies,

What are you and ur FH going to wear for your engagement photo shoots? Will you be doing an outfit change or will you guys stay in the same clothes the whole time?

Our engagement shoot is in 2 weeks and i haven't picked out an outfit ughhh, and I really have no clue what to have my fiancé wear... help lol

Engagement Photos-Outfits - Long Island Weddings

I want to do something cute for the Spring but I would also love to somehow incorporate our Islanders jerseys so maybe we will have to do an outfit change. Where are you taking your pics?

Bc we are getting married on Friday the 13 and fh is very into.affliction clothing and skulls we are both wearing the brand lucky 13 shirts. We are doing more funny pics then romantic. We took traumatic pics on the cruise we went on. My moh also bought him one of the game over tshirtsso he is gonna change into that.

We will be doing an outfit change. FH is super patriotic so I want to do some red, white and blue pictures and then we will do a normal outfit too. We don't even have a photographer yet but I already bought this dress for the RWB. No idea what I'll dress FH in, I don't want us to be too matchy-matchy! We'll probably be doing pics in May or June.

Here is a link to 'what to wear in family photos' even though you're not taking family photos it gives you color groupings and shows you what colors go without being matchy-matchy. Hope this helps :)

We are taking them at Planting Fields so we will be outside n we've gotta dress warm probably since there will probably still be snow on the ground lol

I was trying to do that when were were doing the emerald green color scheme but now, we're just winging it.

Love that dress!! I have a winter dress that's a similar style and i soooo wanted to wear it but since we will be outside i think it'll be too cold for it and now I am back at square one :(

Engagement Photos-Outfits - Long Island Weddings

I wanted our engagement photo on the beach but since ny weather has been so yucky, we did ours in miami beach when we were there last week. I found this groupon from a local photographer ( only 100 bucks). I have few shots in my album..they came out beautifully I think...we did 2 outfits. So if any of you ladies planning on vacation soon, may be you can look into groupon in that area. :)

That dress is super cute! Maybe your FH could wear a pair of khakis and a white colored shirt? That would match without being matchy matchy LOL

Yup, I was thinking khakis and either white or light blue shirt :) He has some crazy red white and blue boatshoes that he will be wearing. haha. He wanted to wear royal blue khakis but I told him I think that would be overboard!!! lol

I wore nice dress and my fiance wore golf attire and just had fun with it. Your photographer can come up with great ideas and give you a lot of options. We did our photos with Foxlight Studios last August because we are both golfers and did a golf themed engagement shoot. It came out great. The link is here to see some more:

Hey!

Yes I have since it's going to be freezing out i am wearing jeans, a black sweater with a scoop neck, and boots.I'll also probably be wearing my winter coat in most of the pictures lol

Taking the pics tomorrow, I'll post them as soon as i get them back from the photographer!! :)
