Engagement pic Q

It was written in my contract to have engagement pictures taken. What has everyone used them for? I haven't taken them yet and I'm not even sure I will be able to before the wedding. I'm not even sure they are needed, but they are in my contract. Any idea/suggestiongs?

i had them displayed at my eparty on one of those digital frames. i had baby pics of me and FH mixed in...everyone loved it!

my cousin had hers in a digital frame at her cocktail hour. again a big hit!!!

we used ours for random stuff. we took the pics in sept and put a pic on our christmas card. we used one in a sign in frame at the wedding and we also used them for various stuff at our shower.

we are taking ours next week actually with sam from duet. we are using one as a sign in board at the reception. another as the cover of our cd favors and others in our wedding program.

I've seen people use them in newspaper annoucements or use them with the table numbers.

I am not doing engagement pictures because I have no need for them. My fiance and I already have tons of photos of us together from various events (casual and fancy).

We had them done w/ a free 11x14. Right now that 11x14 is hanging in my room. We were gonna use it on the placecard table or something but we're not sure yet.

We are using various poses from the shoot on our church programs and also on the thank you that we're attaching to the favors.

if you dont want to take them maybe your photographer can put that credit towards something else...more pics in wedding album, more enlargements. I remeber my photographer mentioning I could do e-pics or something else (i forget the something else bc we wanted e-pics lol)

we used them for our save the dates. also, i framed a few.

i'm glad we took them. I almost like them better than the wedding pics! We used one for our sign in board and inside our CD favor.

We had 2 of ours displayed on our card table and also used them for our table #s.

If they are in your contract, get them, you paid for them. You may want to blow some up to display later on.

We are having ours displayed on the card table and we are ordering a few just to have around the house, scrapbook, etc. My sisters and FMIL and FSIL want one too.
